In the first quarter of 2025, the iOS platform in Oman saw varied performance trends among the top carpooling and ridesharing apps. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into weekly downloads and active user metrics for these apps.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery recorded a notable surge in weekly downloads, peaking at over 7K by the end of March. The app also saw a corresponding rise in weekly active users, starting at just over 3K and climbing to about 7.5K by the quarter's end.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads early in the quarter, which later stabilized at around 500. Weekly active users showed resilience, consistently hovering between 13K and 15K throughout the period.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a fluctuating download pattern, starting at 377 and dipping to 160 mid-quarter before recovering to 451 by March's end. Active users followed a similar trend, beginning at 3.4K and concluding at 3.8K.

Careem – rides, food & more saw a decline in weekly downloads from 475 at the start to 343 by the quarter's close. However, active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 2.3K to 2.5K over the months.

Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery showed modest weekly download numbers, starting at 270 and ending at 333. The app's active users increased steadily, reaching over 13K by the end of the quarter.
